Privacy Policy
Last updated June 7, 2026
This policy explains what Outlast Pool collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run your pool, we never sell your data, and we use a small set of trusted providers to operate the Service.
01 Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
- Account information you provide at signup: email address, display name, phone number, and state of residence.
- Pool activity: the pools you create or join, your weekly picks, results, and payment status that a commissioner records.
- Technical data needed to operate and secure the Service, such as your authenticated session and basic request logs.
02 How we use your information
We use your information to create and secure your account, run your pools and grade picks, send transactional messages (such as the email confirmation, password resets, and pool notifications like pick reminders and elimination notices), and to operate, maintain, and improve the Service. We collect your phone number and state to support account recovery, notifications, and to help confirm eligibility where survivor pools are restricted.
03 How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited ways:
- Within your pools: your display name, picks, and status are visible to other members and the commissioner of pools you join.
- Service providers who run our infrastructure under contract: Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email delivery). They process data only to provide their services to us.
- Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
04 Cookies
We use essential, first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because the authentication cookies are essential, disabling them will prevent you from logging in.
05 Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
06 Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account information at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at support@outlastpool.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
07 Children
The Service is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
08 Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections and managed authentication — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe.
09 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
