Every pick locks at kickoff automatically. No screenshots, no honor system, no arguments about who picked what when.
Graded from live NFL scores
Wins advance, losses eliminate, ties follow your pool's rule. Standings update on their own — no commissioner spreadsheet.
Every house rule is a setting
Strikes, mulligans, buybacks, missed-pick handling, tie rules — configure the survivor rules your group already plays with.

A pick grid shows every entry's history once weeks lock — who burned which team, who's alive, who went out and when.
Survivor pool questions
- What is an NFL survivor pool?
- A survivor pool (also called an eliminator or last-man-standing pool) is a season-long contest where you pick one NFL team to win each week. If your team wins, you advance to the next week. If it loses, you're eliminated. The catch: you can't pick the same team twice all season. The last player standing wins.
- Is Outlast Pool really free?
- Yes — creating, joining, and playing are completely free. There are no platform fees. If your pool has an entry fee, that money moves directly between players (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App); Outlast Pool tracks who has paid but never touches it.
- How do picks and deadlines work?
- Each week you pick one team to win their game (no point spreads). Picks lock automatically — either at the week's first kickoff or at each game's own start time, depending on your pool's rules. Results are graded automatically from live NFL scores.
- Can I play with friends in a private pool?
- Yes. Pools are private by default: the commissioner shares a single invite link (with an optional password), and everyone joins with a free account. You can run multiple entries per person if the pool allows it.
