Titans Place OL Carmona, Slater on IR: Survivor Read
Sep 29, 2026
Titans thin out the offensive line
Tennessee shuffled its roster Tuesday, placing offensive linemen Fernando Carmona and Jackson Slater on injured reserve. Both moves take depth off the Titans' front five, and by rule that means each player is sidelined for the near term rather than available week to week.
What it means for your survivor pick
Offensive line attrition is exactly the kind of quiet development survivor players should track before locking in a pick. A shorthanded front tends to show up in ways the box score doesn't advertise — more pressure allowed, less push in the run game, and a lower margin for error against a decent defense. That doesn't automatically make the Titans a fade, but it does raise the bar for using them, especially in a matchup where you were already leaning on a comfortable spread. If Tennessee isn't a clear, lopsided favorite this week, there are usually cleaner survivor options on the board. Weigh the matchup, keep the depleted line in mind, and if you're still building your bracket, you can start a free survivor pool or brush up on how survivor pools work before you commit.
