Terry McLaurin May Sit vs. Colts: Week 5 Survivor Read

Terry McLaurin's status in doubt against the Colts

The Commanders may be without their top receiver this Sunday. According to ESPN's John Keim, Terry McLaurin could miss Washington's game against the Colts, leaving his availability up in the air heading into the weekend.

What it means for your survivor pick

Losing a No. 1 target like McLaurin reshapes how you should view this matchup. If you were eyeing the Commanders as a safe survivor pick this week, his potential absence is reason to pump the brakes until the inactives drop — a shorthanded passing game lowers the floor on an offense you'd otherwise be counting on. On the flip side, a McLaurin-less Washington makes the Colts a more interesting side if you're weighing that direction. The smart move is to wait: McLaurin's status is still unsettled, so hold your pick as long as your pool allows and confirm before you lock in.
