Packers' Tucker Kraft Returns on SNF: Survivor Read on GB

Tight end Tucker Kraft left Green Bay's "Sunday Night Football" matchup against Dallas with an apparent injury, then returned to the field after the scare. For survivor players tracking the Packers as a potential future play, the quick turnaround is the detail that matters most.

What it means for survivor pickers

The immediate takeaway is that Kraft's exit didn't turn into a long-term loss, which keeps Green Bay's outlook intact for the weeks ahead. The schedule is where this gets interesting: the Packers aren't favored in Week 7 — they're on the road at Detroit, where the Lions are a 1.5-point favorite — so GB isn't a clean survivor option that week.

The spot to circle is Week 8, when Green Bay hosts Carolina as a 7-point home favorite. That's the kind of margin survivor players look for, and a healthy Kraft only strengthens the case. Just remember the usual discipline: if you're eyeing the Packers in Week 8, you'll want Detroit, Philadelphia or Dallas handled on other weeks first, since those favorites dot the same stretch of the calendar.
