Packers Place RT Zach Bako-Bewele on IR: Survivor Impact

Packers lose a starter up front

Green Bay placed right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele on injured reserve Monday, the team announced. The move sidelines him for at least the minimum IR stint and thins the Packers' offensive line for the stretch ahead.

What it means for your survivor pick

An IR move at right tackle is worth flagging, not panicking over. Line depth matters for pass protection and the run game, so a Packers pick this week isn't automatically off the table — it just carries a little more risk than it did before the injury. If you're leaning on Green Bay, weigh who steps in at right tackle and, more importantly, the strength of their opponent's pass rush before you lock it in. When a favorite has a fresh question mark up front, it's often smarter to bank them for a softer future matchup and use a cleaner team this week.
