NFL Survivor Pool Picks: Week 7 (2026)

Oct 20, 2026

The safest Week 7 survivor picks

The two cleanest options in Week 7 are the Los Angeles Rams and the Denver Broncos. The Rams are laid 8.5 points at Las Vegas, the widest line on the board, and the Broncos are favored by 7.5 at Arizona. Nothing else in this slate comes close. If you only want the market's verdict, those are your two names — everything after is a step down in confidence.

That's the honest shape of this week: a two-team tier up top, then a messy middle full of three-point games and coin flips. The spread is the only evidence we're working with, and it's telling you to pick from the top.

Los Angeles Rams (-8.5) at Las Vegas Raiders

An 8.5-point line is the strongest signal of the week. The Rams are the biggest favorite on the board, and if you don't already have them stashed for a later week, this is a defensible place to spend them. The only question worth asking is whether you'd rather hold a team this strong for a trickier week down the road. More on that trade-off below.

Denver Broncos (-7.5) at Arizona Cardinals

Denver at 7.5 is the next-best number, and it's close enough to the Rams that either makes a sound anchor pick. If you've already used Los Angeles earlier this season, the Broncos are the obvious pivot. A touchdown-plus spread is exactly the kind of cushion survivor players look for.

The tempting trap: a three-point "name" team

Plenty of players will be drawn to the Kansas City Chiefs this week on reputation alone. But the market doesn't back that instinct — Kansas City is actually a road underdog in Seattle, with the Seahawks favored by 3. Picking the Chiefs here means picking a team the line says is more likely to lose than win. That's the trap. Name recognition is not a spread. Let the number, not the logo, make the call.

The same caution applies to the other three-pointers — Baltimore, Tennessee, Minnesota, Philadelphia — and the pile of one- and two-point games. A 1.5-point favorite like Detroit, Chicago, or Tampa Bay is barely a favorite at all. Those are the games you win a pool by surviving, not by picking.

The middle tier, if you need an alternate

If the Rams and Broncos are both gone from your card, the Houston Texans (-5.5 at home against the Giants) are the best remaining number. After that, San Francisco at 4.5 is the next cleanest look. Both are still comfortably favored — just understand you're trading the big cushion for a thinner one.

The reminder that decides everything

You can only pick one team, and using it this week means not having it later. The Rams and Broncos are strong Week 7 options, but both are the kind of favorite you may wish you'd saved for a thinner slate. Weigh this week against your road ahead, then commit. If you're still looking for a pool to play, you can start a free survivor pool and put this week's read to work.

And remember the premise: favorites lose every week. An 8.5-point line is the best information available — not a guarantee. Pick accordingly.
