What it means for a Lions survivor pick

Rankings don't win survivor pools — spreads do, and Detroit's early slate reads like a survivor menu. The Lions open Week 1 at home against New Orleans as a 7-point favorite, and that's the cleanest of the bunch. Week 3 is even juicier on paper: Detroit hosts the Jets favored by 9.5 at home.
