Jaguars LT Anton Harrison Set for Knee Surgery: Survivor Read

Oct 13, 2026

Jaguars lose their left tackle to the operating table

Jacksonville is set to patch its blind side. Left tackle Anton Harrison will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee once the team returns from its London trip next week, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. It's a hit to the protection in front of the Jaguars' offense right as their schedule tightens.

What it means for your survivor pick

The timing matters for anyone eyeing Jacksonville on their survivor pick board. The Jaguars aren't even favored in their next game — Houston comes into Week 6 at JAX as a 1.5-point favorite, so JAX was already a hard pass there regardless of the line play up front. Jacksonville doesn't flip to favorite until Week 8 at home against Indianapolis (-4.5), then goes back on the road in Week 9 at Baltimore as a 4.5-point underdog.

That leaves Week 8 as the only realistic survivor window here, and a line-of-scrimmage injury is exactly the kind of quiet downgrade that turns a modest favorite into a skip. A 4.5-point home spread is already thin for survivor purposes; losing your starting left tackle only adds uncertainty. Hold off on JAX until you see how the offense holds up without Harrison, and keep stronger favorites in your rotation instead. For more weekly reads, see our NFL survivor pool picks.
