Commanders Ruled Out Two Starters for London vs. Colts

Two Commanders starters stay home for London

Washington will be shorthanded on both sides of the ball in London. Guard Sam Cosmi and safety Nick Cross did not travel with the team Tuesday night ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the Colts, meaning both will be absent for the game.

What it means for your survivor pick

Losing an interior offensive lineman in Cosmi and a starting safety in Cross thins out two spots that already matter in a game against a quality opponent — and a London trip adds its own wrinkles with travel and an early kickoff. If you were eyeing the Commanders as a safe pick this week, this is a reason to slow down rather than fully fade: two absences on a roster facing a real test is exactly the kind of margin-shrinker survivor players should price in. When two teams look close, save the safer names for weeks the matchup is clearer, and keep your board flexible.
