Commanders QB Jayden Daniels Out With Elbow Injury

Jayden Daniels ruled out

Washington will be without quarterback Jayden Daniels, who has been ruled out with a left elbow injury. It's the same elbow he dislocated in a November 2025 game against the Seahawks, which adds an extra layer of concern to an already significant absence.

What it means for your survivor pick

Losing your starting quarterback reshapes how you view a team on both sides of a matchup. If you were leaning on the Commanders as a survivor pick, that plan needs a second look — a team playing without its franchise QB carries more risk than the surface matchup suggests, and survivor is a game where you can't afford a surprise loss. On the flip side, Washington's opponent gets a quiet bump, and that's where sharper players hunt for value. Just don't overreact: back up your read with the full matchup context before you lock anything in.
