Colts WR Alec Pierce Ruled Out With Heel Injury

Sep 21, 2026

Alec Pierce ruled out

The Colts will be without receiver Alec Pierce, who was downgraded to out with a heel injury. It's not the update Indianapolis wanted from its wideout group heading into game day.

What it means for your survivor pick

Losing a deep-threat receiver trims a bit off the Colts' passing ceiling, but a single wideout being out rarely swings a survivor decision on its own. If Indianapolis is on your shortlist this week, the pick logic hasn't fundamentally changed — just factor in a slightly leaner receiving corps and lean on matchup and spread over any one player's absence. When a game is truly close to a coin flip, that's your cue to shop for a cleaner option, and you can browse more survivor analysis before you lock it in. New to the format?
