Case Keenum Could Start for Bears on MNF: Survivor Read

Sep 22, 2026

Keenum in line to start for Chicago

Ian Rapoport reports that veteran quarterback Case Keenum could get the start for the Bears on Monday Night Football. That's the extent of the confirmed news: a potential change under center for Chicago heading into a national-TV spot.

The survivor-pick impact

A quarterback situation in flux is exactly the kind of uncertainty survivor players should respect. If the Bears turn to Keenum, Chicago's offense is operating with a backup-caliber starter on the biggest stage of the week — and that adds risk to any pick built around them. Until the starter is locked in and you can weigh the matchup and spread, treat the Bears as a wait-and-see rather than a lock. If you're leaning on Chicago either way, hold off until the inactives confirm who's taking snaps, and keep a cleaner option in your back pocket.

Managing weeks like this is the whole game in survivor. If you're still hunting for a league, you can start a free survivor pool and keep more survivor analysis handy for the next round of Monday-night curveballs.
